I went to get a hearing aid and the dealer took an ear impression but now there's material stuck in my middle ear after the CT scan. What should I do next and which hospital is best for this? If surgery is needed, could there be complications like damage to the incus or stapes when removing the material?

Go to an ENT surgeon with expertise in otologic surgery. Extraction under microscopic guidance is safe, but risks like ossicle damage must be discussed beforehand.

View allI'm having an issue where my ear gets blocked every time I turn on the AC at night. I'm thinking about using cotton plugs to prevent this blockage temporarily. What could be causing this problem and is using cotton plugs a good idea? Would love some advice on how to deal with this.

Can using nasal saline spray really help protect us from getting infected by black fungus? I'm curious about how this works and if it's something I should consider.
Nasal saline spray like Solespre can help in keeping the nasal passages moist and clear, which may potentially reduce the risk of fungal infections. However, it is important to note that nasal saline spray alone may not be sufficient to prevent black fungus infection. It is essential to maintain good hygiene practices and seek medical attention if any concerning symptoms arise.

My son keeps getting tonsil infections every month with high fever and bad pain. Antibiotics help but the infection comes back after a few weeks. We've seen multiple doctors but nothing seems to fix it long-term. Really want to avoid surgery any other options we could try?
