I'm 20 and having a hard time with beard and mustache growth. I started seeing some hair on my chin about four years ago, but it never spread out over my whole face. It's been frustrating not seeing much progress since then. Could you suggest some treatments or medicines that might help with full beard growth?

View allI've noticed that my fingertips have become really sensitive, and now my sense of touch feels dulled. I can still feel things, just not as sharply as before. Also, my fingers and hands are super dry and wrinkled, almost like they've been in water too long, and this has been going on for about two weeks. I've tried using lotion multiple times a day, but the wrinkles just won't go away. It's happening on both hands. What could this be?

I'm really worried about my ongoing urticaria after being diagnosed with dengue last year. I'm currently seeing a dermatologist and taking Allegra, Famocid, and Doxepin, but it's impacting me mentally too. I'm planning on starting IVF soon, and I'm concerned if this condition might interfere with fertility treatments. Could you help me understand if urticaria could be a problem for IVF?
Your urticaria should not hinder your IVF treatments directly, and your current medications (Allegra, Famocid, and Doxepin) are not typically known to interfere with fertility. However, its always best to consult your fertility specialist about your full medication list. The psychological aspect of dealing with chronic urticaria is valid, and managing stress will be important for both your overall well-being and fertility treatment success.

I'm Ganesh, I'm 24, and I've been living in Chennai. I've noticed that my beard and mustache aren't really growing in a way I'd hope for. My beard has only just started to grow, but there are large patches where it still looks like normal skin with no growth at all. Even in the areas where it does grow, it's taking a really long time to gain any length. My mustache isn't much better as it appears more like a thin line just above my lip, and most of it is still like a bare surface. I'm really wanting to grow a full beard and mustache. Could you help me figure out what might be going on and what I can do about it?
It sounds like you are experiencing slow and patchy beard and mustache growth. One possible solution to promote facial hair growth is to use Minoxidil solution. You can apply Minoxidil 5% solution twice daily on the areas where you want to promote hair growth. Additionally, you can consider taking Biotin supplements to support healthy hair growth. Make sure to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement regimen.
