I'm 20 and I play basketball regularly, but I've been having some issues with my knee. Every time I fold my leg, there's this bubble popping sound in the knee joint, and it's pretty painful. Also, my knees are feeling really weak. What can I do to help with the pain and make my knees stronger?

HIV Test Results After Exposure

Your Test Results

  1. PCR qualitative HIV test (Day 13): Negative
  2. Duo Combo HIV test (Day 14): Negative
  3. Duo HIV test (Day 23): Negative

Interpretation of Results

  1. High accuracy: Your test results, especially the PCR qualitative HIV test, have high accuracy.
  2. Low risk of false negatives: The combination of negative results from different tests reduces the risk of false negatives.
  3. Window period: You've tested negative within the window period (23 days), which reduces the likelihood of HIV infection.

Assurance Before 28-Day Confirmatory Test

  1. High confidence: Your negative test results provide high confidence that you may not be infected with HIV.
  2. 28-day confirmatory test: However, it's essential to complete the 28-day confirmatory test to confirm your HIV status.

Next Steps

  1. Complete the 28-day test: Schedule the confirmatory test on or after the 28th day.
  2. Maintain precautions: Continue to practice safe sex and maintain precautions until you receive your confirmatory test results.

I've been having mild pain in my left inner elbow and forearm, especially after using my phone or laptop for a while. I already have ulnar nerve subluxation in my right elbow and surgery is planned for that, but this left side pain is different no tingling or subluxation, just discomfort that eases with massage. Could this be related to overuse or something else I should be concerned about

The mild pain in your left inner elbow and forearm, especially after using your phone or laptop, could be related to overuse or a similar condition to your right elbow's ulnar nerve subluxation, but without the tingling or subluxation. While it's different from your right elbow, it's still worth investigating. Since it eases with massage, it may be a less severe form of nerve irritation or muscle strain. However, it's wise to consult with a doctor or physical therapist to rule out other potential issues and get personalized advice.

MRI scan shows a high-grade partial ACL tear in my left knee and some meniscus issues. The doctor is recommending arthroscopic surgery but I'm not sure if it's necessary. There's also a mild strain in the PCL and tears in the lateral meniscus. The medial meniscus looks thinned out too. Do I really need the operation or are there other options?

ortho review is advised.
