I'm 20 and I've started noticing something odd with my beard it's usually full dark, but now I've got about 15 hairs turning brown. I'm a bit puzzled since no one in my family, including my brother, has a brown beard. I'm trying to figure out if this is just normal or if it's a sign it might go grey soon. Could it be due to poor nutrients, or maybe too much sun exposure? What's really causing this?

Don't worry, 15 brown hairs in a full dark beard is a minor change.
Normal Variation: It's common for beards to have a few stray hairs of different colors.
Possible Causes:
- Sun exposure: Sunlight can lighten or change hair color.
- Nutritional variations: Minor fluctuations in vitamin or mineral intake might affect hair color.
- Hormonal changes: Hormonal fluctuations can influence hair growth and color.
Unlikely to Turn Gray Soon: 15 brown hairs don't indicate imminent graying.
Monitor and Maintain:
- Keep an eye on changes: If the brown hairs increase or spread, consult a doctor.
- Maintain a balanced diet: Ensure adequate vitamins and minerals.
- Protect your beard from sun damage: Use a hat or hair products with SPF.
Consult a doctor if you're concerned or notice significant changes.

I've been using this Demelan cream that my dermatologist suggested, but I'm experiencing some itching and a bit of redness where I applied it. It's only been two days. Should I take a break and then continue, or just stop using it altogether?
It seems like you may be experiencing an allergic reaction to the demelan cream. It is advisable to discontinue the cream and consult your dermatologist for an alternative treatment. In the meantime, you can apply a mild corticosteroid cream like Hydrocortisone 1% cream on the affected areas twice a day to help with the itching and redness.
