I'm 23 years old and a couple of years ago, I used minoxidil 5%. It worked after about four months and my hair started growing, but then I began losing hair again after two more months, so I stopped using it. Now, I'm thinking about starting it up again after two years. If I do, will everything be okay this time?

It's okay to try minoxidil again after two years, but be prepared for shedding initially, as it can happen when restarting. Continue using it consistently for at least 4-6 months to see results. If you notice any irritation or side effects, consult with a dermatologist. Remember, minoxidil works best with long-term use.

I'm a 19-year-old girl and I've been using Halo shampoo every day. Should I be worried about any side effects from using it that often?

Using Halo shampoo on a daily basis should generally be safe for most people. However, frequent use of any shampoo can potentially lead to dryness or irritation of the scalp and hair. It is recommended to use a mild shampoo and to consider incorporating a conditioner to prevent dryness and maintain the health of your hair. If you experience any scalp irritation or other unusual symptoms, you may consider reducing the frequency of shampooing or trying a different product.

I've been dealing with a lot of pimples on my face lately and I'm not sure what I should do to get rid of them. What steps or treatments would you recommend to help clear up my skin?

I have so many pimples in my face so what should I do for removed all the pimples Pimples can be treated with topical medications containing benzoyl peroxide. You can try using a brand like "PanOxyl" with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. Apply a thin layer to the affected areas once or twice daily. Additionally, you can use a topical retinoid like "Differin" gel, applying a pea-sized amount to the affected areas at night. It is important to be consistent with your skincare routine for best results.

I've had exfoliative cheilitis for 12 years where the entire layer of my upper and lower lips peels off, leaving them red and raw. My top lip is also covered in Fordyce spots. I've tried so many treatments tacrolimus, clobetasol, mometasone, calendula ointment, Sebamed lip balm but nothing helps. Even multivitamins didn't make a difference. When I tried leaving my lips alone without peeling, they got even more inflamed. The skin turns white when wet and peels daily. Dermatologists keep recommending creams, but none work. Are there any surgical options since topicals don't seem to do anything?

A proper clinical evaluation is needed to identify the exact issue
