I'm a 26-year-old guy and I've had a stammering issue since I was a kid. I'm really wondering if it's something that can actually be treated. Some folks say therapy is the only way to gois that true? I've even tried some of those speech exercises I found in articles online, but they didn't really help. Any advice on what to do next?

I'm really struggling with a stuttering problem that's become quite frustrating for me, and I can't help but wonder if there's any connection between this and masturbation. It's a bit of an awkward question, but could there be something linking the two? I just want to understand if there's any connection or if it's all just a coincidence. Can you shed some light on this for me?

I'm 16 and have trouble pronouncing my R sounds. Is this something I can fix with practice or would I need tongue tie surgery to correct it
It's possible to improve R sound pronunciation with practice, especially if the issue is primarily related to articulation rather than a physical restriction like a tongue tie. If you're 16, speech therapy and dedicated practice are still viable options for correction. While surgery (frenectomy) might be an option for tongue tie, it's not always necessary or the first course of action for R sound difficulties.
