I'm a 26-year-old pregnant woman currently taking ecosprin 75 mg as my doctor advised. I'm a bit worried and just wanted to check if it's safe to continue using this medication during pregnancy. Can you help clarify this for me?

Ecosprin 75 mg (aspirin) is generally considered safe for pregnant women in low doses, but only under medical supervision, as it can help reduce the risk of preeclampsia and pregnancy complications; however, always follow your doctor's guidance and monitoring to minimize potential risks to you and your baby.

I've been trying to get pregnant for the past year. We've already done a semen analysis and HSG, and now we're doing a follicular study. We're in the second cycle now. My doctor has me on Mvista Maturova tablets from day 2 to day 7. Just two days ago, on day 13, my follicle was 24mm, and after an HCG injection and starting Susten tablets (2 daily for 15 days), my ultrasound showed a 32 mm cyst. It's causing me some ovary pain, and I'm pretty worried. Can you explain what this cyst might mean? What steps should we take next?

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and I've been having a really bad throat infection along with a blocked nose and cough. My gynecologist advised me to take Augmentin 625 Duo, which I've been on for the past two days. The cough was quite bad, so I decided to start Montek LC as well. I took a dose at about 3 PM yesterday, and then another half dose at midnight. I'm continuing with the antibiotics for another three days to finish the course. Can you tell me if taking these medications together is safe?

It's generally safe to take Augmentin 625 Duo (amoxicillin-clavulanate) as prescribed by your gynecologist for 5 days, and Montek LC (montelukast) as needed for cough, but taking an extra half dose of Montek LC at midnight may not be necessary, so consult your doctor to confirm the dosage and ensure safe use during pregnancy, as both medications are category B, meaning animal studies have shown no harm, but human studies are limited.
