I'm 33 and just got my cholesterol levels checked. My total cholesterol is 246 mgdl with HDL at 40 mgdl, LDL at 179 mgdl, triglycerides at 186 mgdl, VLDL at 37.2 mgdl, and non-HDL at 206.5 mgdl. I'm kinda worried about these numbers. Do you think I should start taking medication to manage my cholesterol?

Based on your cholesterol levels, it appears that your LDL cholesterol is high at 179mgdl. Considering this, it would be advisable to start medication to help control your cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease. I recommend starting a statin medication such as Atorvastatin at a dosage of 20mg daily. Additionally, incorporating lifestyle changes such as a healthy diet and regular exercise can also help in managing cholesterol levels.

I'm really worried about my mom's 2D Echo report that mentions Aortic Valve Sclerosis. It also states LV Diastolic Dysfunction, Mild TR, Mild PAH, and Trivial MR AR, but no Intracardiac Masses or pericardial effusion. What caught my eye was the doctor's advice for an angiogram. Is that truly necessary? What kinds of risks are we looking at if we don't go for it? Would appreciate your guidance on whether this is a standard procedure or if alternative approaches exist.

yes angiogram is advised .

I've recently had a TMT test done and I'm trying to wrap my head around the results. The test summary says Total Time is 631, Max HR Attained is 184 bpm, and it's 96% of my target, which is 191. It also mentions Max BP is 190100 and Max workload is 7.6 with Bruce Protocol. My doctor said everything looks fine and that I shouldn't worry, but I just want to make sure all these values are normal. Could you help me understand if there's anything I should be concerned about or if it's all really okay?

everything is normal

My mom's ultrasound showed a poor acoustic window because of her body size. The doctor mentioned it might affect the results. I'm really worried does this mean she'll need surgery or can medications help her get better? What are our options here?

We need to see all her reports, examine her once and look into the gravity on her symptoms to decide the course of treatment best for her.
