I've been dealing with a really painful and burning throat all day. Hot water and salt didn't help at all. It's so uncomfortable when I swallow, and the pain's more on the left side. Any ideas on what's going on or how to make it stop?

I've had enlarged tonsils for over a year now - can homeopathy actually shrink them back to normal size or is surgery better? The doctor just glanced and said I have big tonsils without any tests, but I've been taking meds.
