I'm 38 years old, and my blood pressure was 130 over 85. But today, it shot up to 140 over 100. I weigh 123 and my height is 5'11". Should I start taking medication for my BP? What would you suggest?

I've got some concerns about my cholesterol and liver enzyme levels. My total cholesterol is at 254 and LDL is 166. On top of that, my SGPT is 108 and SGOT is 120. My doctor is recommending statins, but I'm wondering if that's really necessary? Could I just stick to a healthy diet instead? Would love another perspective on this.

Is it gas or heart attack?
Heart attack feels like pressure on chest cannot be relieved by antacids, associated with breathlessness. One can not entirely differentiate chest pain due to gas from chest pain due to heart attack based on symptoms only. You may need to visit a hospital and get evaluated by a health-care provider.
