I'm 39 and I've been dealing with a cold and cough for a few days now. I tried taking Levolin Plus for my cough, but it feels like the phlegm is stuck in my chest and won't come out. I'm also hearing some noises from my ears. Can you recommend any medications, like a cough syrup or antibiotics, that might help me get some relief?

View allI'm a 40-year-old woman, and last week I had a viral fever. I had a CBC blood test afterward, and my ESR level is 36. I've also been experiencing frequent headaches. Could this be related to my ESR level being higher? Are there any specific foods or diets I could follow to help reduce the ESR level?
Elevated ESR can be a non-specific indicator of inflammation in the body, which could be due to various reasons including infections, autoimmune diseases, and other inflammatory conditions. In your case, the viral fever you had could have contributed to the elevated ESR level. However, it is important to investigate further to determine the exact cause of the elevated ESR and your persistent headaches. To help reduce inflammation in the body and potentially lower ESR levels, you can consider incorporating anti-inflammatory foods into your diet. These include foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids (such as fatty fish like salmon), fruits and vegetables high in antioxidants (such as berries, spinach, and kale), nuts and seeds, and whole grains. Additionally, maintaining a healthy weight, staying hydrated, and avoiding processed foods and excessive sugar intake can also help in reducing inflammation. For your persistent headaches, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment.

I've been taking B complex tablets because my B12 level was low, and I've noticed my urine turning bright yellow afterward. I'm a bit worried and unsure if this is happening because of the supplement or if I should be concerned about something else. Is yellow urine normal after taking B complex, or should I be worried?
yes

I'm a bit concerned because I've been feeling some slight pain in my lower left rib area for the past 10 days. It's mostly noticeable when I lie down on my bed for a few seconds. It doesn't feel like the rib bones themselves are hurting, but more like something underneath or nearby them. I've never smoked and haven't had any lung issues in the past, but I did have COVID about a year ago. Do you think this could be something related to my lungs or heart?
Ecg and x-ray chest pa view is advised to the patient.
