I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and noticed my hCG levels only increased from 4300 to 4500 over 4 days. I'm really worried that this might not be a good sign for the pregnancy's viability. Do you think taking hCG injections could help increase these levels more quickly?

View allI've been diagnosed with a 12 cm bulky fibroid in my uterus. My doctor recommended a hysterectomy since I'm 43, but I'm really nervous about surgery. Are there any other treatment options I could explore? I'm worried and not sure what to do.
Yes, there are alternatives to hysterectomy for uterine fibroids. Since you are 43 and your doctor is recommending hysterectomy, it's important to discuss other options like myomectomy (surgical removal of fibroids while preserving the uterus) or non-surgical treatments like uterine artery embolization (UAE) or focused ultrasound. You can also explore medication options to shrink fibroids or manage symptoms. A second opinion from another gynecologist can also be helpful.
