I'm about a month post-tympanoplasty and I'm still having issues with itching and noises in my ear. Should I be concerned that it's not healing properly, or is this normal and just taking time to get better?

It's normal for some residual symptoms like itching and sounds to persist for a few weeks after tympanoplasty, as the ear canal and eardrum take time to heal; however, if the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your ENT surgeon to rule out any complications, such as graft failure, infection, or middle ear fluid, and to determine the best course of action.

View allI'm really struggling with this sinus issue caused by a deviated septum. Its been two years now, and it's been really persistent. Over the past couple of months, I've had sinus pain four or five times, and it's different each time. Sometimes its a sore throat, other times breathlessness or chest tightness, and then it could be facial pain or heaviness and pain in my nose. Is there any permanent solution for this? I'm just worried because it keeps coming back, and I'm not sure what to do.

My friend took a look and saw something white and black in there. I'm a bit worriedany ideas on what might be going on or what I should do about it?

Ive noticed my uvula seems to be touching my tongue, and it feels like something is hanging at the back of my mouth. Its making it hard for me to talk. Could this be something I should be worried about?
It sounds like you may have an elongated or swollen uvula, which is causing discomfort and affecting your speech. I recommend taking over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen to reduce swelling and discomfort. You can also try gargling with warm salt water to help reduce inflammation. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a medical professional for further evaluation and treatment.
