I'm a bit concerned because I got my x-ray report back today, and it says I have a ground glass appearance in the peripheral region of my left lung. I'm not really sure what this means or why it would happen. Could you help me understand this?

View allMy dad's been dealing with this really thick white phlegm and a cough every day after he got over bronchitis a few days ago. Before, the phlegm was yellowish for about 5 or 6 days, and now it's just super thick and white. Do you think this will clear up soon? It bothers him a lot, especially because he constantly feels like he has to clear his throat when he talks. He's not running a fever or anything, and he's breathing fine. It's just this cough and phlegm that's driving him nuts. What do you think we should do?

I've been experiencing breathing problems ever since the first wave of COVID. My hemoglobin levels are normal, my oxygen level is at 98, and an X-ray indicates I have chronic bronchitis. Is there any way to cure this permanently? I've never smoked or even tried it, so I'm really confused about what's causing this. Can you help me understand what's going on and if there's a long-term solution?
Salbutamol inhaler and budesonide 200 sos is advised for breathing difficulty.

How can I clean my lungs?
There is no scientific proof to methods available online to detox your lungs. Fortunately, Lungs are good at cleaning and repairing themselves unless there was any chronic damage done. You may follow some steps to keep the lungs healthy such as Quit smoking, avoid second-hand smoke, steer clear of pollution indoors & outside (Wear mask, use air purifiers), prevent lung infections (Hand washing, maintain distance from sick people, get flu/pneumonia vaccines), include anti oxidants in diet and do breathing exercises or any physical activity on regular basis.
