I'm a bit concerned because my recent TVS scan at 5 weeks and 5 days showed the yolk sac and fetal pole, but there wasn't a heartbeat detected yet. Should I be worried? Is it possible that the heartbeat will be detected in the next scan? Can you offer some guidance on what this might mean?

At 5 weeks and 5 days of pregnancy, it is not uncommon for the fetal heartbeat to not be detected yet. It is possible that the heartbeat may be detected in your next scan. It is important to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and monitoring.

I'm really worried and need some advice. I'm 20 years old and usually my period starts between the 20th and 25th of each month. This time, I had unprotected sex on the 20th of March and took an Unwanted 72 pill on the 21st, but my period still hasn't started, and it's already April 8th. I'm really stressed out about the possibility of being pregnant because I don't think I can handle a pregnancy right now, and I definitely can't tell my parents. Should I take a pregnancy test? And if it turns out I'm pregnant, what options would be available to me?
