I'm a bit confused about corpus luteum cysts. I read that they're connected to ovulation and menstruation, and nothing to do with being sexually active, but a gynecologist mentioned to me that it's not possible if you're not sexually active. Can you clarify how they actually develop?

I'm really worried and need some advice. So, last month on the 24th, my boyfriend fingered me, and I'm not sure if he had precum on his hands or not. It could have been there about 10 minutes before when he got it, but then we fooled around for 10 more minutes before he actually put his finger in my vagina. He didn't ejaculate, but I guess there might have been a chance of precum. Anyway, my periods have always been irregular, but now it's been delayed for like 15 days. My last period was also late by 14 days, and I've taken a pregnancy test on the 11th, which was negative. I was supposed to get my period on the 4th of this month, but instead, there was just some light brown spotting on the 14th. On top of that, I was losing a lot of hair a month ago and had sudden weight gain about 2 years back. I don't feel weak or nauseous and there's no constipation, frequent urination, vomiting, or exhaustion, just some lower back pain that comes and goes. Could I still be pregnant even though the test was negative, or could something else be going on? I'm kind of freaking out and would really appreciate your advice.
There is no risk of pregnancy in this scenario you can ignore if and visit Gynaecologist for evaluation and appropriate management
