I'm a bit worried about my cholesterol levels. My total cholesterol is 226, HDL is 51, and LDL is 172. Do you think there's a risk with these numbers? Should I be considering any medication?

Total cholesterol level of 226 with HDL of 51 and LDL of 172 indicates a higher risk for cardiovascular disease. It is important to manage these levels to reduce the risk. Lifestyle changes such as a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight management are important. In addition, medication may be required to lower cholesterol levels. I recommend starting a statin medication such as Atorvastatin at a dose of 20mg daily to help lower LDL cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events.

I'm trying to figure out what's causing my shortness of breath. If my HRCT scan looks normal, but I'm still experiencing breathing issues and my ECG shows RBBB, what could be going on? Should I consider getting a CT coronary scan to investigate further? I'm really looking for some guidance here.

I'm really concerned about my mom. She's been advised to take rosuless 20 mg twice a day, and I'm just wondering if that's actually safe or advisable. Like, should I be worried about any possible side effects? Any guidance would be really appreciated.

Rosuless 20 mg is a brand name for Rosuvastatin, which is commonly used to lower cholesterol levels. Taking it twice a day as prescribed by your doctor is advisable for better control of cholesterol levels. Make sure to follow the dosage instructions provided by your healthcare provider.

I've had this stabbing pain right in the middle of my chest that I've been dealing with since I woke up one morning. It feels sharp, especially when I inhale deeply, sneeze, or put any pressure on my chest. I tried taking pain relievers and some NSAIDs, and after about a week, the pain mostly went away, but I still feel it when I move or squeeze my chest too much. It's been 3 months since then, and the day after this pain started, I caught influenza. I did visit a general doctor, but they said it might be from the flu or just because I slept wrong and put too much pressure on my chest. I'm really worried about what this could be. Could it actually be something more serious?
