I'm a bit worried because I need to have an operation soon, and my haemoglobin level is only at 9.7. Do you have any advice on how I can raise it quickly?

I recommend taking Ferrous Sulfate 325 mg tablets once daily. Additionally, include iron-rich foods in your diet such as red meat, poultry, fish, beans, and dark leafy greens. Vitamin C can also help with iron absorption, so consider taking a Vitamin C supplement or consuming foods high in Vitamin C like citrus fruits, strawberries, and bell peppers. Remember to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest to support your body's recovery and hemoglobin production.

View allI'm a bit worried about my mean platelet volume being at 14.8. Does that seem unusually high or just slightly above normal? How can I bring it back to a more typical range? Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm really concerned about my mom. She had Covid, but thankfully she recovered and tested negative about two weeks ago. However, we've noticed her D Dimer level is now 675mg. Is it normal for blood to become thicker after testing negative for Covid? Also, her CRP level is up to 10. Is there a chance of reinfection, or is this something else I should be worried about?
continue the covid tablets which your consultant given!! no need to recheck

I'm a 47-year-old man, pretty healthy overall, but I've noticed my hemoglobin level is on the lower side at 12.5. I love running and typically do a half marathon once a month. I'm trying to boost my iron intake naturally, but I'm curious about iron supplements. Could you recommend an iron tablet that could help increase my hemoglobin to around 15 in a month? And how long should I be taking it?
-As a runner with low hemoglobin, it's important to boost your iron levels with a well-absorbed form of iron, like ferrous bisglycinate or ferrous sulfate. You can take 1 tablet (typically 65 mg of elemental iron) once daily with vitamin C to enhance abso
