I'm a bit worried because my doctor said it's palpitation and my ECG came back normal. At the time, my heart rate was around 100 bpm, and they prescribed me medicine for 10 days. Now it's the fourth day, and I'm noticing my heart rate is sometimes above 100 or in the 90s, but when I wake up, it's around 80 or 78, and at night it's between 67 and 72 when I'm resting. How long do you think it'll take for my heart rate to stabilize back to normal? It's above 90 and sometimes even over 100 in the afternoon before it calms down.

I've been experiencing some chest pain in the center of my chest after I eat. It's been happening for the past couple of days, and the pain comes and goes throughout the day. Sometimes, the pain is in my heart and left chest, and it's really bothering me. I also feel it a lot in the right chest, in the middle of the two chests. I've been dealing with sinus tachycardia, and my doctor suggested I try met xl 12.5 mg. I've been on it for a few days, and while my resting pulse rate has dropped a bit from 100 to 90 bpm, it still jumps to around 105-110 bpm when I'm doing normal activities. I'm wondering if it's safe to up my dose from 12.5 mg to 25 mg, and how long would be okay to stay on that higher dose?
