I'm a bit worried because my roommate had chicken pox and he left a few days after finding out he had it. Could you let me know what steps I should take to make sure I don't catch the virus too?

I'm feeling pretty miserable with a cold and fever for the past couple of days. The cold symptoms are really intense, and although I only felt the fever internally yesterday, things seem to be getting worse. What should I do about this? Is there anything specific I should be worried about, or any remedies youd recommend to help me feel better?
-Sorry to hear you're feeling unwell! It sounds like the cold is hitting you harder than the fever. Make sure to rest, stay hydrated, and consider steam inhalation or a saline nasal spray for relief. If it worsens, dont hesitate to see a doctor.

I'm a bit worried about my body temperature. It usually stays around 98 to 98.7 in the morning but goes up to 99 by late afternoon, then drops back to 98.7 around 9 pm and stays there. It's been like this since April 10. For a couple of days in between, my temperature didn't go above 98.7. I haven't taken any meds for fever. Could this be something like typhoid or malaria? I haven't been able to get a blood test because of the whole corona situation. What do you think might be going on?
sometimes dueto hormonal changes also there's is change in temperature. Drink plenty of water and avoid stress as much as you can
