I'm considering laser surgery for piles but not sure if medicines alone can cure it How long does the laser treatment usually take and is it better than other options

Laser surgery for piles can be an effective option, offering a relatively quick procedure and recovery time. While medicines may help manage symptoms, they don't always cure the underlying condition, and laser surgery can provide a more definitive solution for larger or persistent piles. Laser treatment typically takes around 30-45 minutes, and recovery is usually faster than traditional surgery.

Had piles surgery 7 months ago but now my anal area looks completely different from normal. Is this part of the healing process or should I be worried about complications?
It is natural, nothing to worry about it.

I've had both internal and external piles for three days now, and there's this sticky, transparent mucus discharging from them. The lump isn't getting any smaller; it's still hard and just sits outside my anus, causing some mild pain and itchiness. Do you think it's time to consider surgery? Also, is there any way to stop the mucus discharge?
There may be an infection in the perianal region. It is best to follow up with your surgeon and get operated as soon as possible before further complications arise.
