A negative TMT stress test does not completely rule out the presence of angina or atherosclerosis. In some cases, the test may not accurately detect blockages in the coronary arteries. An angiogram is considered the gold standard for diagnosing coronary artery disease (CAD) as it provides a direct visualization of the coronary arteries. If there is a high suspicion of CAD despite a negative TMT, an angiogram may be recommended to confirm the diagnosis.

I've been having this really awful chest pain for about a month now, and it sometimes feels like my heartbeat is a bit off. After doing a bunch of research, I think it might be esophageal spasms. I'm feeling like there's a weight on my chest, and every so often, it really hurts. I've had COVID twice but I'm on the mend now. I was thinking of getting a chest x-ray, but I noticed there are different kinds, like AP view and lateral view. I'm not sure which one I should go for. Can you help?

I'm dealing with sinusitis for the last 4 years, and it's mostly my right side that's blocked with a lot of mucus and sometimes a whitish liquid comes out.
