I'm curious about what's going on with my throat. I noticed it started feeling sore after I drank some cold water yesterday. Is that a common reason for a sore throat? And do you have any suggestions on what medicine I should take to help it feel better?

Here are some home remedies to help alleviate nasal congestion and breathing difficulties:

  1. Steam Inhalation: Inhale steam from boiling water or a humidifier to loosen mucus.
  2. Nasal Saline Rinse: Use a neti pot or squeeze bottle with saline solution to clear nasal passages.
  3. Honey and Lemon: Mix equal parts honey and lemon juice in warm water to soothe the throat and ease congestion.
  4. Eucalyptus Oil: Add a few drops to your diffuser or inhale directly from a cloth or tissue.
  5. Warm Compresses: Apply a warm, damp washcloth to your face to loosen mucus.
  6. Drink Plenty of Fluids: Stay hydrated to thin out mucus and promote drainage.

Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

I've been feeling really tired for weeks and have been sleeping like 12 hours or more sometimes. I thought it might just be a winter bug going around, but today I got really sick and cant even keep water down. Then this dry cough showed up and I've noticed dark hairs, some long and some short, with different thicknesses. I've been collecting them in a tissue because it's freaking me out and I'm scared this could be something serious. What do you think is going on?

I'm wondering which doctor I should see for a full body check-up. The report includes details about every part of my body, like my heart, liver, and bones. Who would be the best specialist to go to for this kind of comprehensive review?

I'm a bit worried because I've had a dry cough for about a week, and now the right side of my back is swollen. I went to the doctor, and she said the swelling is from the cough and it's nothing serious. The swelling has gone down, but I'm still feeling a little pain around my right rib area. Should I be concerned about this lingering pain? Could it be something more than just from the cough?
