I'm currently on dialysis because my serum creatinine level is 8. I'm worried about my heart too since I've got an issue with my ejection fraction. I've just had a routine ultrasound and it turns out my left kidney is now just 7.5 cm, even though my right one seems to be normal. When I had a scan about five years ago, the left kidney was 10 cm. I also did a urine test that showed 100 mgdL of protein and my serum creatinine level is at 1.24. Should I be worried about this? Could this be Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)?
