I would recommend adding an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole (Canesten) to your treatment regimen. Apply it to the affected area twice a day for about 2 weeks. Additionally, you may consider taking an oral antifungal medication like Fluconazole (Diflucan) 150 mg once a week for 4 weeks to help clear up the infection from within. I'm a little worried about switching from isotretinoin capsules to tablets. My dermatologist started me on a 5-month isotretinoin course for moderate to severe acne, and I've been using Saferet 20 mg capsules for 2 months now. But my pharmacist now only has Saferet 20 mg in tablet form. Is there any difference between taking isotretinoin as capsules or tablets? Which one is more effective or better for me?
