I'm currently undergoing PRP treatment and I'm wondering if it's safe to use Minoxidil at the same time. Can you shed some light on this for me?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Yes, you can use Minoxidil during PRP treatment for hair loss. Minoxidil is a common medication used to promote hair growth and can be used in conjunction with PRP therapy. The usual dosage for Minoxidil is applying 1ml of solution to the affected area twice daily.

View allIs Tenovate a steroid cream? I came across two types: Tenovate cream base and Tenovate ointment base. I was told to use the cream base for my eczema blisters, but because of the dry weather, I switched to the ointment without talking to my doctor. Was that a mistake? Also, I've heard about Clobetasol being a steroid, is that true?
Yes you can have it no problem, moisturize it often and do not let your skin become dry and yes clobetosol is a steroid

My skin's really oily and acne-prone, plus its super sensitive. I'm trying to figure out which Cetaphil cleanser would be best suited for me. Should I go with the Cetaphil OS Oily Skin Cleanser or should I opt for the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser? I'm kind of worried about making things worse with the wrong choice. Any advice?
Start with gentle cleanser and check if it suits you, later switch to oil based cleanser

I've been using virgin coconut oil on my scalp, and it's been really itchy afterward. Could you help me understand what might be causing this and what steps I should take to fix it?
The problem could be an allergic reaction or irritation to the coconut oil. I recommend you stop using the coconut oil and try using an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream to help with the itching. You can also take an antihistamine like cetirizine (brand name Zyrtec) to help reduce the itching. If the itching persists or gets worse, please consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.
