I'm dealing with a 103-degree fever since yesterday and struggling with unbearable headaches. I've been diagnosed with migraines and was prescribed Amicon 25. The doctor has now added antibiotics and Dolo 650 for the fever. Given that I'm a breastfeeding mom, I'm really concerned. Can I safely take Amicon 25 along with these other medications? The headaches are making it hard to sleep, and I just want to make sure everything's okay for me and my baby.

View allI've been experiencing a lot of pain in my right arm whenever I cough. It's like this electric current that starts from my armpit and goes all the way to my elbow. I recently got over a cold and have been coughing really hard. Is this something I should be worried about?
This type of pain that radiates from the armpit to the elbow when coughing could be indicative of a condition known as brachial neuritis or brachial plexus neuropathy. To help alleviate the pain, you can take over-the-counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Additionally, a muscle relaxant like cyclobenzaprine may also be beneficial. However, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

I banged my head pretty hard on the garage door when it was going up last night. I didnt pass out, there's no blood, and I haven't thrown up or anything, but there's this burning sensation and a slight headache going on. The ER doc said it's not a concussion, but I'm kind of worried. How would I know if there's any internal bleeding? And also, should I consider pausing my birth control pills while I'm figuring this out?
Monitoring for Internal Bleeding_ 1. *Watch for worsening headache*: If your headache worsens or becomes severe, seek immediate medical attention. 2. *Look for other symptoms*: Monitor for symptoms like: - Dizziness or loss of balance - Nausea or vomiting - Blurred vision or sensitivity to light - Confusion or disorientation - Weakness or numbness in arms or legs 3. *Seek immediate medical attention if you experience*: - Sudden severe headache - Difficulty speaking or swallowing - Weakness or paralysis in face, arm, or leg - Vision changes or double vision _Birth Control Pills_ As a precautionary measure, consider stopping your birth control pills temporarily until you're cleared by your doctor. Birth control pills can increase the risk of blood clots, which may be a concern if you have internal bleeding. _Follow-up_ Schedule a follow-up appointment with your primary care physician or a neurologist within the next 24-48 hours to reassess your symptoms and determine the best course of action.

I'm trying to figure out what NVD means in relation to a nerve problem with my right hand. I've had some tests done like EEG, EMG, and MRI of my neck and brain, and everything seems fine. The doctor suggested NVD, but I'm not sure if it's a test or a type of therapy. They've also prescribed me Clonotril 0.25 mg, Felicity OD, and Meaxon Plus injection. Could you help me understand what NVD stands for and what it involves?
