I've been dealing with a bad cold I caught about three weeks ago. It seems like the main infection cleared up, but I'm still experiencing this choking sensation in my throat, although it happens off and on. I can feel some phlegm sitting there, but swallowing isn't an issue. My breathing is fine too, and I only really cough to try and clear my throat. I'm feeling this heaviness or pressure on the right side of my throat, like there's some pain there. There's no fever, cough, or anything like that. When I press on it, I feel something like a bean moving upward when I swallow. I only notice it when I swallow something. Could it be a gland or a tumor? If it were throat cancer, wouldn't I have a cough, fever, or other symptoms? I'm really scared. Can you tell me what the exact symptoms of throat cancer are?
