I'm dealing with a polyp in my uterus and it's causing irregular periods and spotting. It gets especially bad when I run or feel stressed. I'm really worried and wondering what can be done to help this situation?

Consider consulting a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation and discussion of treatment options for the uterine polyp, which may include watchful waiting, hormonal medications, or surgical removal via polypectomy or dilation and curettage (D&C); in the meantime, your doctor may recommend hormone-regulating medications or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to manage symptoms like irregular periods and spotting.

I need to abort my baby at 22 weeks and Im really stressed out about this whole situation. My husband lied to me about his past, he was already married and has a family, and I just found out. I feel I cant handle this alone. Hes been pushing me to abort the baby and his first wife is also putting pressure on me, telling me to leave him and my in-laws. I feel so trapped and overwhelmed and sometimes I think about suicide but I can't go through with it. My parents have passed away and I have no one to turn to. Can you help me figure out what I should do?

I empathize with your distressing situation; however, I must emphasize that abortion laws and regulations vary by country and region. In many places, abortion after 20 weeks of gestation is heavily restricted or prohibited. I strongly encourage you to reach out to a trusted healthcare provider, a crisis helpline, or a support organization for guidance and emotional suppor

I've missed my period and found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant, even though we used protection. I'm not in a position to raise a baby right now. A friend with an MBBS degree advised me to confirm the pregnancy with a scan and then take mifepristone orally, followed by 4 misoprostol tablets vaginally after 24 hours. But I haven't experienced any bleeding yet. After another 24 hours, I took 2 more misoprostol vaginally and 2 orally. Still, there's no bleeding, just some tissue passing and a few drops of a dirty white liquid. Can you help me understand what's happening?

Sounds like you are experiencing a medical abortion using medication. It is important to follow the correct dosage and administration guidelines for these medications. In your case, since there has been limited bleeding and only some tissue passing, it is advisable to seek medical attention promptly to ensure the completion of the abortion process and to address any potential complications.
