I'm dealing with a polyp in my uterus and it's causing irregular periods and spotting. It gets especially bad when I run or feel stressed. I'm really worried and wondering what can be done to help this situation?

Consider consulting a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation and discussion of treatment options for the uterine polyp, which may include watchful waiting, hormonal medications, or surgical removal via polypectomy or dilation and curettage (D&C); in the meantime, your doctor may recommend hormone-regulating medications or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to manage symptoms like irregular periods and spotting.

I'm a 41-year-old woman and have been healthy overall. Until recently, my menstrual cycle was quite regular at 25 days, but since April, it has shifted to once every 50 days, so now I'm getting my period every two months. Along with this change, I've also started feeling breast pain, much like the sensation during pregnancy. I'm wondering if these are signs of menopause starting. Should I be considering any medication for this? For context, my mom began menopause in her 40s too.

Its possible that youre experiencing early perimenopause, especially given the changes in your menstrual cycle and breast tenderness, which are common symptoms. Since your mother also went through menopause in her 40s, this could be hereditary. Its a good idea to consult your doctor for a thorough evaluation and to discuss whether any treatment or lifestyle changes would be helpful for managing symptoms.

I'm really worried and need some advice. So, last month on the 24th, my boyfriend fingered me, and I'm not sure if he had precum on his hands or not. It could have been there about 10 minutes before when he got it, but then we fooled around for 10 more minutes before he actually put his finger in my vagina. He didn't ejaculate, but I guess there might have been a chance of precum. Anyway, my periods have always been irregular, but now it's been delayed for like 15 days. My last period was also late by 14 days, and I've taken a pregnancy test on the 11th, which was negative. I was supposed to get my period on the 4th of this month, but instead, there was just some light brown spotting on the 14th. On top of that, I was losing a lot of hair a month ago and had sudden weight gain about 2 years back. I don't feel weak or nauseous and there's no constipation, frequent urination, vomiting, or exhaustion, just some lower back pain that comes and goes. Could I still be pregnant even though the test was negative, or could something else be going on? I'm kind of freaking out and would really appreciate your advice.

There is no risk of pregnancy in this scenario you can ignore if and visit Gynaecologist for evaluation and appropriate management

Hey, I'm thinking about using a period delay pill and I'm not sure which one I should go for or what the right dosage is. Also, how far in advance should I start taking it? I'm also a bit worried about how this might affect my next period cycle. Would love any advice you could give me.

Gynaecologist opinion is advised to the patient.
