I'm dealing with a ringworm issue on both sides around my thighs. It's been going on for about a year now. I used terbinaforce, but the problem just comes back after a few days. What should I do to finally get rid of it for good?

Causes of Recurrence*
- Incomplete treatment: Terbinaforce is effective, but you might need a longer treatment duration or a combination therapy.
- Contaminated clothing or personal items: Fungal spores can survive on surfaces, causing re-infection.
- Poor hygiene: Not maintaining good personal hygiene can contribute to the spread of the infection.
- Underlying skin conditions: Conditions like eczema or dermatitis can increase the risk of ringworm recurrence.
Revised Treatment Plan
- Consult a dermatologist: Schedule an appointment to reassess the infection and adjust your treatment plan.
- Combination therapy: Your doctor might prescribe a combination of topical and oral antifungal medications, such as terbinaforce and clotrimazole.
- Longer treatment duration: You may need to extend your treatment period to ensure the infection is fully cleared.
- Improve hygiene: Wash your clothing, towels, and bedding in hot water, and dry them on high heat to kill fungal spores.

View allI've been dealing with an infection that keeps popping up on the back of my head, right on the scalp. I usually use soframycin, and it clears up in about 3 to 4 days, but then it just reappears after maybe 1 to 2 months. I'm trying to figure out what's causing this and what precautions I should be taking to prevent it from coming back. Any insights you could share?

I'm dealing with a ringworm infection and I've been using okacet l and applying betnovate gm and scabex s. Are these the right medications for treating it? Is there anything else I should be doing or anything I should avoid while using these treatments? I'm just worried if I'm handling this correctly.

I'm dealing with pimple-prone skin and occasionally struggle with cystic acne and itching. Currently, I'm applying Erytop gel twice daily. Could you help me decide which soap would be better for my situation Dermadew Acne or Dermadew Lite? I'm feeling quite confused about which one to go for.
For pimple-prone skin with cystic acne and itching, it's essential to choose a gentle, non-comedogenic soap that won't clog pores. _Dermadew Acne vs. Dermadew Lite_ 1. *Dermadew Acne*: Contains salicylic acid (2%), which helps: - Exfoliate the skin - Unclog pores - Reduce acne 2. *Dermadew Lite*: A gentler, fragrance-free version with: - Lower salicylic acid concentration (0.5%) - Soothing ingredients like aloe vera _Recommendation_ If you have severe acne and itching, *Dermadew Acne* might be a better option due to its higher salicylic acid concentration. However, if you have sensitive skin, *Dermadew Lite* could be a better choice.
