I'm dealing with tonsillitis and noticed these white patches on my throat, but weirdly, I don't have a fever. There's just a bit of congestion. Do you think it's necessary for me to take Augmentin 625 three times a day after meals for a whole week to deal with this? I've never really taken antibiotics more than once a day before, so I'm a bit uncertain about this dosage. Can you help clear this up for me?

View allI've been dealing with a really bad sore throat for the past two days, and it's so painful that I can't even drink water. To make things worse, I also have a cold. I took a citrizin tablet last night, but I still don't feel any better. Could you give me some advice on what I should do?

I'm really struggling with my left nostril being blocked for over a month now, and it's tough to breathe easily. It's causing me these massive headaches and my nose keeps running. Any idea what's going on or what I can do about it?
Sounds like a painful and uncomfortable situation! Your symptoms suggest: 1. *Tonsillitis*: Inflammation of the tonsils, likely caused by a bacterial (e.g., streptococcal) or viral infection. 2. *Strep throat*: A bacterial infection that can cause swollen, red, and white-spotted tonsils. Seek medical attention from an *ENT specialist* or a *primary care physician*. They may: 1. Perform a *rapid strep test* or *throat culture* to confirm the diagnosis. 2. Prescribe *antibiotics* (if bacterial) or recommend *supportive care* (if viral). 3. Provide guidance on *pain management* and *hydration*. In the meantime, try: 1. *Staying hydrated* with plenty of fluids. 2. *Gargling with salt water* to soothe the throat. 3. *Using a humidifier* to add moisture to the air. Feel better soon!

I've got a cold right now and every time I sneeze, I notice some blood coming from my nose. I'm not sure what's causing this or how I should handle it. Could it be something serious? What steps should I take to treat it?
