I'm dealing with upper back pain and it's making it a bit hard to breathe, plus I'm feeling really bloated. There's also this annoying sensation like a cough is stuck in my throat. What's causing all this? It's really uncomfortable and I'd appreciate any advice you might have!

View allI've been diagnosed with a hiatal hernia in my upper stomach and the pain is constant it's making it hard to eat properly. Is this something that can be treated with medication or will I need surgery? Also, could you recommend a good doctor for this? I'm really concerned about my condition.
They may recommend medicines called antacids or alginates, which can help ease your symptoms. It's best to take these with food or soon after eating, as this is when you're most likely to get symptoms. They may also work for longer if taken with food.

My doctor said one side of my anal sphincter is too tight and prescribed meds, but mentioned surgery if it doesn't work. Are there other options besides surgery or any tips to help loosen it naturally?
Yes, there are options besides surgery to address a tight anal sphincter. Besides the medications your doctor prescribed, consider non-surgical interventions like Kegel exercises, biofeedback, and bowel training. Other treatments include botulinum toxin (Botox) injections, and in some cases, a sphincterotomy may be considered
