I'm experiencing a burning sensation after I pass stools, and it's happened twice just last week. The stool seems normal, and it's usually after I've had some spicy food. Should I be worried about this, or is it just the spicy food causing it?

Chondromalacia patella, also known as runner's knee, is a condition where the cartilage on the underside of the kneecap deteriorates and becomes soft. Unfortunately, chondromalacia patella is not permanently curable .
The good news is that symptoms can be managed with treatment, and in some cases, people can experience significant relief. However, the condition can be progressive, meaning it can worsen over time if not properly managed.
Given that you've been under treatment for over a year and haven't experienced the desired relief, it may be worth exploring alternative treatment options or seeking a second opinion from a specialist.
In terms of adjusting your lifestyle, it's great that you're thinking proactively. Considering your history with sports, you may need to modify your activities to reduce stress on your knee joint. Low-impact exercises like cycling or swimming might be more suitable options for you.

View allI've been feeling like there's something stuck in my throat all the time, and it's getting pretty uncomfortable, especially with this burning sensation that comes along with it. Could this be something serious, or is it just a minor irritation? What should I do about it?

I'm really worried because I accidentally swallowed some chewing gum earlier. I know people say not to swallow it, but it happened so quickly. I've been drinking a lot of water since then and am wondering if that will help the gum get digested and pass through on its own. Do you think it will just come out naturally or is there something else I should be doing? Id really appreciate your advice on this.
Montair LC and Allegra-M are both antihistamines used to treat allergies, but they have some differences. Key differences:* 1. Levocetirizine (in Montair LC) is more sedating than Fexofenadine (in Allegra-M). 2. Montair LC is often prescribed for asthma, while Allegra-M is primarily for allergies. 3. Allegra-M has a faster onset of action (1-2 hours) compared to Montair LC (2-4 hours).

My dad has been feeling nauseous and vomiting all day but his sonography and CT scan came back normal. His creatinine is 1.92 and endoscopy showed acid reflux. He has a pacemaker from 2014 and had bypass surgery in 2008. Right now his cardiologist has him on three meds for acid reflux Zofer, Rantac 300, and Pantocid. Is this the right treatment or should one of Rantac or Pantocid be stopped? Could there be a better option?
In this case, nausea and reflux may be related to kidney function or meds. Zofer (ondansetron) is okay short term. Only one PPI (Pantocid) is usually needed—consult for drug interaction review.
