View allI got hit pretty hard right across my head and jaw area by my partner on Friday night, and ever since, the spot has been really red, throbbing, and warm. The next day, I felt like I had cotton stuck in my ear. I tried blowing out air while holding my nose, but nothing seems to happen; no air coming out or any whistling noise from my ear. There's been no discharge, but the pain has been constant for two days now. Could this affect my hearing? I'm really worried about what could be causing all of this.
Yes there could be mini malltrauma to any part of the middle ear, better get evaluated with ENT doctor and audiometry test done as soon as possible.

I'm thinking about using sesame oil, like 12 drops daily in each nostril, to help with these annoying dry, hard crusts that keep forming. Is that something safe to do every day? Also, can I use olive oil for my ears, and how often should I be using it? What amount is considered okay?
