I'm feeling a bit concerned because all my test results are fine, except for my X-ray, which shows something off. The bottom three ribs on one side aren't visible, and there's a thin layer around my lung. I'm wondering, can this layer be treated or removed with medication? I also feel some discomfort when I take a deep breath. Any advice on what might be going on?

I'm feeling a bit unsure about my diagnosis and the treatment I've been prescribed. I've been told I have ILD and IPF, specifically idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis Stage I, and my doctor has suggested taking Acetylcysteine 600 mg effervescent tablets for the IPF. Do you think this is the right approach? Could it really help with the phlegm I'm experiencing in my nose and throat? Just wanting to make sure I'm on the right track here.
