I'm feeling a bit concerned because there's this dull pain near my windpipe, on the right side of my neck, right in the front. The pain seems to come up when I press on it or tilt my head a certain way. What could be causing this? Should I be worried?

View allMy daughter, who's 5 now, has been having really frequent nosebleeds like at least twice a week ever since she was one year old. We've been using Botroclot, Neosporin ointment, and ice almost all the time. The bleeding is quite heavy and doesn't stop unless we use Botroclot. We've done blood tests for clotting, and everything came back normal. We were told that this might normalize as she grows older, but honestly, we're really worried about it. My ENT specialist diagnosed me with grade 4 tonsillitis and recommended surgery. I'm worried is surgery really necessary at my age? Could there be any long-term issues if I delay or avoid it?
A Grade 4 tonsillectomy recommendation by your ENT specialist, especially if it's for recurrent tonsillitis, is often a serious consideration. While surgery might seem daunting, delaying or avoiding it could lead to persistent or severe complications, and it's crucial to have an open discussion with your doctor about your concerns.
