I'm feeling really anxious about taking Lomaira, Losartan, and Amlodipine all at once. Are there any side effects I should be worried about?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Taking Lomaira (phentermine) with Losartan and Amlodipine can increase the risk of side effects such as increased blood pressure, heart rate, and potential for heart problems. It is important to monitor for symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, and swelling. It is recommended to avoid this combination unless specifically instructed by your healthcare provider. If you are experiencing weight issues, you can discuss alternative weight management options with your doctor.

View allI'm really worried about someone close to me whos been diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy. How long do you think they might be able to live with this condition?
The lifespan with Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) varies significantly depending on many factors, including age at diagnosis, overall health, lifestyle changes, adherence to treatment, and response to medications. With modern treatments and proper medical care, many people with DCM can live for many years or even decades after diagnosis. The 5-year survival rate has improved significantly in recent decades, especially for those who receive early treatment and follow their doctor's recommendations. Rather than focusing on general statistics, it's best to discuss your specific case with your healthcare team, as they can evaluate your particular situation, including the severity of the condition, other health factors, and your response to treatment.

I've been feeling really off latelyI'm a 50-year-old woman, and for the past little while, it feels like my heart is skipping a beat all the time. I've got high blood pressure and thyroid issues that I'm managing, but this heart thing is worrying me a lot. I went for a check-up two days ago, but I'm still feeling uneasy. Could it be something serious, or maybe something related to my medications or conditions? What should I do next? Im feeling a bit anxious about it.
You should have your ECG test done
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
I've been having these weird symptoms lately, and I'm not sure what's going on. Whenever I masturbate, I start to feel really breathless, my heart races, my chest hurts, and I get this lightheaded feeling. It's strange because I never used to have these issues. Even when I'm just walking around, I feel out of breath and dizzy. I got an ECG, TMT, and echo done and they all came back normal. My lipid profile shows my total cholesterol is 193 with HDL at 42 and LDL at 151. My vitamin B12 was around 212, and vitamin D was 51. I even did a lung test and that came back normal too. Another odd thing is that I feel uncomfortable in my chest when listening to music with a lot of bass vibrations. What could be causing all this?
