I'm feeling really cold since yesterday and there's this constant pain in my leg that just won't go away. I'm also experiencing dizziness along with full body aches; it was really bad last night. What could be causing all these symptoms? Should I be concerned or is there something I can do at home to feel better?

RBCs normocytic normochromic in a blood test indicates:
- Normocytic: Red Blood Cells (RBCs) are normal in size.
- Normochromic: RBCs have a normal amount of hemoglobin, which carries oxygen.
This result suggests:
- RBCs are healthy and functioning properly.
- No indication of anemia due to abnormal RBC size or hemoglobin content.
However, anemia can still be present due to other factors, such as:
- Low RBC count
- Poor RBC function
- Chronic diseases
Consult your doctor to interpret your complete blood test results and determine if further evaluation is needed.

I'm a bit concerned because my mom, who's strictly vegetarian, has been taking her prescribed medicine, but her vitamin B12 levels are turning out to be quite high. Should this be a concern?
High vitamin B12 levels can sometimes be a cause for concern, as it may indicate certain health conditions such as liver disease, kidney failure, or certain types of leukemia. However, in many cases, high vitamin B12 levels may not be harmful and can be due to factors such as dietary supplements or injections. It is important to consult with your healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause and decide on the appropriate course of action.

Can I drink alcohol after getting the Covishield vaccine? I had my first dose about a week ago and I'm wondering if it's okay.
It's generally advisable to avoid alcohol after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, including the Covishield (AstraZeneca) vaccine. While there is no specific evidence suggesting that alcohol directly interferes with the vaccine's effectiveness, drinking alcohol can potentially impact your immune system, which might affect how well your body responds to the vaccine.
