I'm having this issue where clear fluid keeps leaking from my nose whenever I bend down. This has been happening for about a year now, and I can count about 56 drops each time. My ENT thinks it could be a CSF leak and suggested doing some fluid biochemistry, but I'm having trouble collecting enough fluid for the test. Do you think this suspicion makes sense? And how can I get this confirmed? Are there any risks I should be worried about? I haven't had a persistent cold or anything like that, so I'm a bit lost on what I should do next.

View allI recently got my Vitamin B12 test done, and my level came back as 102. My cardiologist suggested taking Pregaba M 75. I wanted to check if this is actually meant to help increase B12 levels because when I searched online, it seemed more related to neuro and seizures. Could you advise if I should take this medication for my B12 deficiency?
The medication Pregaba M 75 is not typically used for increasing Vitamin B12 levels. It is commonly prescribed for neurological conditions and seizures. To increase your Vitamin B12 levels, you can take supplements such as Neurobion Forte, which contains Vitamin B12 along with other B vitamins. You can take one tablet of Neurobion Forte once a day after meals.

I've been feeling really dizzy for about two months now, and it makes keeping my balance while walking pretty tough. After the first week, things got a bit better, but I still went to see a neurospecialist who gave me some medication. The dizziness just doesn't seem to go away, and it can be different at different times, mostly when I move my head around in a rotational way. It's weird because it doesn't feel like the room is spinning, just my head feels off, and walking becomes difficult. Things seemed to calm down for a while, but it's been acting up again for the past 23 days. Now it gets worse when I move my head up or down. Do you have any idea what might be causing this and if there's a way to treat it?
Vertigo can be caused by various underlying conditions such as inner ear problems, vestibular migraines, or Meniere's disease. Since your symptoms have persisted despite medication, it is important to follow up with your neuro-specialist for further evaluation and management. In the meantime, you can try taking Betahistine. Betahistine is commonly used to reduce the frequency and severity of vertigo attacks. It is important to continue communicating with your neuro-specialist to determine the underlying cause of your vertigo and to adjust your treatment plan accordingly.

I've been dealing with a neurofibroma NF1 for the past 7 years and it's been quite tough. I've consulted several doctors and they all keep saying that surgery is the only option. I'm really considering going through with facial surgery now, but I'm anxious about it. Are there really no other treatments or recent developments that might help before I decide to go under the knife?
