View allMy mom is 62 and was diagnosed with a 13 mm gallstone last month. Her total bilirubin level just came back at 5.9 today and she's feeling extremely weak can barely stand. We're planning surgery next month but what tests or steps should we take now to bring her bilirubin levels down?
Given her high bilirubin level (5.9) and symptoms, it's crucial to seek immediate medical attention. Her elevated bilirubin level, along with the 13mm gallstone, strongly suggests a potential issue with bile flow and possibly a blockage. The next steps involve confirming the cause, managing any complications, and preparing her for surgery

I'm having some issues after taking this ayurvedic weight gain powder for a few months. I don't feel hungry, sometimes there's vomiting, and even food smells weird to me now. My blood tests show high SGOT and SGPT levels, and I'm tired all the time. I'm really worried about what's going on. What steps should I take to feel better?
