I found out I have a middle ear infection and after going through a bunch of tests like X-rays, blood work, an echocardiogram, ECG, and a CT scan of the mastoid, my doctor is suggesting a major surgery. Can you tell me what this surgery is called? I'm also really worried about any health risks that might come with it.
