I'm having some trouble with gas, and I think it might be related to the fact that I've been eating a lot of boiled egg whitesabout 5 to 6 every day. Can they actually be causing this gas issue? If they are, is there something I can do to help with the gas? And what if I decide to switch to liquid egg whites insteadwould that make any difference?

Interesting combination of symptoms.
Relationship Between UTI and Undigested Food in Stool
- Unrelated conditions: UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) and undigested food in stool are generally unrelated conditions.
- E. coli in urine culture: The presence of E. coli in your urine culture confirms a UTI, but the low colony count might indicate a mild infection.
- Undigested food in stool: This symptom could be related to:
- Gastrointestinal issues (e.g., IBS, gastroparesis, or malabsorption)
- Dietary factors (e.g., food intolerance, high-fiber diet, or inadequate digestive enzymes)
- Other medical conditions (e.g., celiac disease, Crohn's disease, or pancreatic insufficiency)
Next Steps
- Complete UTI treatment: Finish the prescribed antibiotic course to clear the E. coli infection.
- Investigate gastrointestinal symptoms: Consult a gastroenterologist or a primary care physician to evaluate the undigested food in stool symptom.
- Dietary and lifestyle changes: Consider keeping a food diary, avoiding trigger foods, and incorporating digestive-friendly foods and habits.

View allI'm really concerned about my husband. He often struggles with gas and acidity, and it usually takes him a couple of days to feel better. What's really puzzling is that when he has gas, he feels pain behind his ear. I'm having a hard time figuring out what might be causing this gas problem, and I'm wondering if you could help us understand what's going on.

I thought I might have hemorrhoids because I've been taking phentermine for weight loss and heard that could be a side effect. It started with my anus being swollen and painful during bowel movements, and it's been like this for over a week now. But just now, I noticed a green, booger-like discharge from my anus. I took a picture to get a better idea of what's happening, and it looks like there's a blister down there. It's really painful around the blister and the surrounding area. I'm a bit freaked out because it shouldnt be an STDIm married and was just tested not too long ago. There's only this one blister. It's red around the edges and white on top. I really don't know what's going on. Any advice?

I had laparoscopic fundoplication surgery two months ago but still have trouble swallowing, gastric issues, and discomfort. How long does recovery usually take for these problems to go away and when can I get back to my normal routine?
It's understandable to be concerned about lingering issues after laparoscopic fundoplication. While complete recovery can take 2-3 months for most, some complications like swallowing difficulties, gastric issues, and discomfort can persist longer for some individuals. You should consult with your doctor to address your specific concerns
