I'm having some trouble with my throat and it's making it hard for me to breathe properly. On top of that, I have a dry cough which is really annoying. I can't seem to lie down or get any sleep. Do you have any advice on what I can do about it?

View allI've been dealing with sinus issues for almost 25 years, and it seems to get worse whenever the climate changes. I've been using Nosikind drops for my nose, which helps a bit but not completely. It usually starts with a scratchy throat, and by the next day, I have a runny nose, body aches, and sometimes a fever. I've tried so many medications but they only seem to work for a short time before my symptoms come back. What else can I do to manage these symptoms better?

I've had chronic sinusitis and had DNS surgery twice, but I still feel heavy movement in my forehead and eyebrows, especially on the left side. Right now I'm taking levocetrizine hydrochloride 5mg and ambroxol hcl 60mg tablets, which have helped a bit with the dullness. Can I increase the dose to twice a day? I'm worried about side effects because last time I tried that, I had sinus congestion and discharge
It's generally not recommended to increase the dosage of levocetrizine or ambroxol without consulting a doctor, especially since you've experienced side effects with higher doses in the past. Increased doses of these medications could exacerbate those side effects or have other unforeseen consequences. allergy medicines might lessen allergy symptoms of sinusitis caused by allergies

I'm curious about something that's been happening lately. When I lie on my side in bed, I can hear my heartbeat in the ear that's against the pillow, but nowhere else in the room. Is this normal, or should I be concerned about it?
When you lie on one side of the bed, it is common to hear your heartbeat more prominently in the ear that is in contact with the pillow. This is known as pulsatile tinnitus. To help alleviate this symptom, you can try using earplugs or playing white noise in the background. If the issue persists or worsens, it is recommended to consult an ENT specialist for further evaluation and management.
