I'm hearing a lot of talk online about using urine to cure ear infections. Apparently, some people think it's the best or even the only way to fix an earache. But I'm worried that it might cause more issues, like infection, since urine is human waste and all. Can you clarify if this is safe or just a myth?

View allI've been dealing with a constant, light phlegm in my throat for about 4 months now. It all started back during the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown when I used a tissue between my kerchief and nose for 2 days while on duty. By the third day, I had chest and throat pain, and the phlegm got worse. I've stopped using tissues, but the phlegm issue didn't go away. I visited a couple of medical shops, but the medicines they gave me like Amoxycillin, Intase Incoff Forte, Histan B, Kuffdryl, and Amorax didnt really help. Now, apart from those first two days, I havent had any chest or throat pain, no sneezes or runny nose. It's just that the phlegm keeps coming, and sometimes I have to cough it up and spit it out almost every minute. Its not thick or green. What could be causing this, and what should I do?
take syrup ascoril 5ml twice daily, drink hot water only

I'm really worried because I've had a cold for the past four days with constant sneezing, a runny nose, headaches, and some body aches. Now I've noticed blood in my saliva after trying to spit I had to clear my throat a bit forcefully, and that's when I saw it. I also feel like my throat is really dry and there's a mild pain on the right side of my throat. The bleeding stopped after happening about 5 or 6 times, but I noticed it after drinking water. What's going on? I'm really scared and would appreciate your advice.
That could be normal capillary bleed no need to worry as there is history of cold also,it's negligible.

I've been having this pain in my neck and the upper side of my chest, and sometimes it hurts when I swallow. I'm kind of worried and not sure who I should reach out to for help. Could you give me some advice on what this might be and what kind of specialist I should see?
You can use throat lozenges for throat pain. It is also recommended to drink plenty of warm fluids and avoid spicy or acidic foods. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is advisable to consult with a medical professional for further evaluation and management. Pain in the neck and upper side of the chest, along with pain during swallowing, could be due to inflammation or infection in the throat or esophagus. This could be caused by conditions such as pharyngitis, esophagitis, or even muscle strain. You can try taking over-the-counter pain relievers like Acetaminophen (Tylenol) for pain relief.
