I'm hearing these weird sizzling sounds in my throat, it's almost like a slow sizzle or maybe like water trickling really slowly. I've done all the tests, even for covid, and they all came back negative. I also feel like I need to cough, but I never actually do. What's going on? Can you help me figure this out?

I'm worried about a hole in my eardrum on the left side. There's no pain or irritation, but I'm really hoping to avoid surgery if possible. Can eardrums heal on their own without surgery? Also, how long does it typically take for treatment?

If your ear drum has perforation that needs to be closed no other option,if left untreated that would lead to reinfection or may also cause hearing impairement.

Ive noticed my uvula seems to be touching my tongue, and it feels like something is hanging at the back of my mouth. Its making it hard for me to talk. Could this be something I should be worried about?

It sounds like you may have an elongated or swollen uvula, which is causing discomfort and affecting your speech. I recommend taking over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen to reduce swelling and discomfort. You can also try gargling with warm salt water to help reduce inflammation. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a medical professional for further evaluation and treatment.

I've been diagnosed with cholesteatoma in my left ear and there's a growth that needs to be removed. The doctor recommended surgery, but I'm wondering if there are any other treatment options or if surgery is the only way to get rid of it completely. Is there anything else that can be done?

cholesteatoma surgery also known as mastoidectomy and tympanoplasty ,a surgical procedure to remove non caancerous skin growth in the middle ear.
