I'm just wondering how accurate the herpes HSV IgG test is after three months since I was exposed. I got a negative result, but I've noticed a blister under the foreskin. Should I consider getting retested in a few months?

View allI have this boil on my right thigh that's been bothering me for the last three days. The skin around it is really red and it's pretty painful. What kind of antibiotic should I consider for this? I'm a bit worried.
For the boil on your thigh, along with the redness and pain, you can take an antibiotic like Amoxicillin-Clavulanate (brand name Augmentin) 625mg twice a day for 7-10 days. Additionally, you can also apply an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment like Neosporin to the affected area to help with the healing process.
