I'm looking at my Liver Function Test results and I'm a bit concerned. My total bilirubin is 15.2 mgdL, direct bilirubin is 11.6 mgdL, and indirect bilirubin is 3.60 mgdL. Plus, my SGOT is 96 UL and SGPT is 137 UL. What should I do next? Is there something I should be worried about?

I had laparoscopic fundoplication surgery two months ago but still have trouble swallowing, gastric issues, and discomfort. How long does recovery usually take for these problems to go away and when can I get back to my normal routine?
It's understandable to be concerned about lingering issues after laparoscopic fundoplication. While complete recovery can take 2-3 months for most, some complications like swallowing difficulties, gastric issues, and discomfort can persist longer for some individuals. You should consult with your doctor to address your specific concerns

My mother has 19mm gallstones and a dilated CBD. She's been eating very little but feels like eating more, and she only passes stool every 3-4 days. We've seen allopathic doctors who recommended surgery, but she's scared of it and wants to try homeopathy instead. The homeopath we consulted didn't help much. We're in Hyderabad what should we do? Can you review the ultrasound report and advise?
Given the presence of a 19mm gallstone and dilated CBD, along with reported symptoms like reduced appetite with increased desire for food and infrequent bowel movements, it's crucial to prioritize a thorough evaluation and consider all treatment options. While homeopathy may offer some benefits, it's essential to address the underlying cause of the dilated CBD, which is likely related to the gallstone.
