I'm looking to understand why there's a sudden increase in Vitamin B12 levels. The recent blood test showed it at 1346 pgml, whereas the normal range is 180-914 pgml. Could it be because of the Neurobian Forte injection she got when admitted to the hospital for a high fever a couple of weeks earlier? Could that injection have caused the spike? Any insights would be appreciated!

Elevated Vitamin B12 levels can be caused by various factors. Considering the recent hospital admission and Neurobion Forte injection, it's possible that the injection contributed to the high Vitamin B12 levels.
Neurobion Forte Injection
- Contains Vitamin B12: Neurobion Forte injections typically contain a combination of vitamins, including Vitamin B12.
- High dose: The injection might have contained a high dose of Vitamin B12, leading to elevated levels.
Other Possible Causes
- Recent supplementation: Other Vitamin B12 supplements or multivitamins taken recently could contribute to high levels.
- Liver or kidney issues: Certain liver or kidney conditions can cause elevated Vitamin B12 levels.
- Other medical conditions: Some medical conditions, such as leukemia or lymphoma, can also cause high Vitamin B12 levels.
Next Steps
- Consult the doctor: Discuss the elevated Vitamin B12 levels with the doctor who administered the Neurobion Forte injection.
- Repeat testing: Schedule a follow-up blood test to monitor Vitamin B12 levels.
- Review medication and supplements: Ensure that no other Vitamin B12 supplements or medications are being taken.

View allHey, I just got my THS test results and it shows my thyroid level is at 0.06. Is that normal? I'm kind of worried because I'm pregnant and wondering if this level can affect my pregnancy. Also, any advice on how I might be able to improve it if it's not in the normal range? Would really appreciate some guidance here!
-A TSH level of 0.06 is lower than normal, indicating possible hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid). This condition can affect pregnancy and needs to be managed carefully to avoid complications. Please consult an endocrinologist for detailed evaluation

Why my sugar level is high after taking insulin?
There are many reasons for having high sugar level after taking insulin such as insulin resistance, inappropriate dose of insulin, taking insulin at same site (that area may scar, which can affect how your body absorbs insulin) and dehydration.

I'm a bit worried about my dad's thyroid levels. He has normal T397 and T48.5, but his TSH is slightly high at 5.53. What exactly does this mean? Should we be concerned or take any immediate action?
it's normal
