I'm not running a fever, but my body feels unusually warm or hot. Could this be something I should be concerned about? Do you have any suggestions on what might be causing it or what steps I should take?

I'm really worried because I've had a fever for the past 5 days, and after seeing a doctor, I found out that my white blood cell count is down to 2300 and my platelets are at 0.81 lakhs. I did a dengue test today, and it came back positive, but I haven't noticed any improvement yet. My doctor mentioned something about starting treatment on the 5th day. Can you please help me understand what kind of treatment to expect for dengue?

Hi there I understand your concern... There is no specific treatment for dengue its just supportive and symptomatic...treatment is mainly to reduce fever, prevent dehydration and to observe patient carefully...if you are not having spontaneous bleeding nothing to worry... Just consult nearest physician and get your platelets checked daily as count bellow 20k may lead to dengue shock syndrome in that case you will require platelets transfusion...

I'm a bit confused about these medications. Is Pentids 400 mg the same as Erythromycin 250 mg in terms of their content? Should I be worried about taking either of them?

No, Pentids 400 mg contains Penicillin G Potassium, which is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, while Erythromycin 250 mg contains Erythromycin, which is also an antibiotic but belongs to a different class. It is important to note that these two medications are not the same and have different mechanisms of action. It is advisable to take them as prescribed by your healthcare provider to avoid any potential drug interactions or adverse effects.

I've been prescribed Livogen 50mg and Canditral 200mg, and I'm just wondering if it's safe to take them both at the same time? Also, does Canditral have any side effects I should be aware of?

You can use it no problem
