I'm noticing a keloid on my chest, but I haven't had any injuries or surgeries before. It doesn't hurt, but I'm curious if it's something that's considered healed or if it's something I should be concerned about. Could you give me some insight into this?

View allHow long does it usually take for vitiligo to spread? I've had these spots on my neck, leg, and hand for about four years now, and they haven't really changed in size. Should I be worried about them getting bigger or appearing in new places?
The spread of vitiligo varies from person to person. In some cases, the patches may remain stable in size and number for years, while in other cases, they may spread rapidly. Since you have had the spots for 4 years with the same size, it is possible that the condition may remain stable for you. To help prevent further spread of vitiligo, you can consider using topical corticosteroids like Clobetasol propionate cream on the affected areas. Apply a thin layer of the cream twice daily for a few months to see improvement. Additionally, phototherapy with narrowband UVB light can also be beneficial in managing vitiligo. Remember to protect your skin from sun exposure as it can worsen the condition. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher on the affected areas when going outside.

There's a small bump near the start of my butt crack that I recently noticed. It doesn't hurt or feel uncomfortable, but I had an itchy bum and felt it while I was scratching. The bump doesn't seem to move, and I don't think there's any redness involved. I'm not sure if this is something new or if it's been there for a while. Should I be worried about this?
This could be a benign skin condition such as a cyst or a skin tag. Without further examination, it is difficult to determine the exact cause. I recommend keeping the area clean and dry to prevent any potential irritation. If the bump persists or changes in any way, it would be best to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper evaluation and treatment plan.
